How air pressure changes with altitude?
Atmospheric pressure is the force per unit area exerted on a surface by the weight of air above that surface in the atmosphere of earth. The higher up you are, the less air pressure. The air thins out the higher you go, thus leaving less air in the atmosphere to push you down.
